Structured Buffer ETFs
Corgi's structured buffer ETFs are defined-outcome funds that seek to buffer a set amount of downside in a reference asset over an outcome period, in exchange for a cap on the upside. They use options to shape the return profile, and the buffer and cap are designed to apply when the fund is held across the full outcome period. See the funds below, or open any one for its current cap, remaining buffer, and outcome-period dates.

Frequently asked questions
- What is a buffer ETF?
- A structured buffer ETF, or defined-outcome ETF, uses options to seek a stated level of downside protection (the buffer) over a set outcome period, in exchange for a limit on the upside (the cap). The buffer and cap are designed to apply when the fund is held across the full outcome period.
- How does the downside buffer work?
- A buffer is designed to absorb the first portion of a reference asset's losses over the outcome period — for example, a 15% buffer targets the first 15% of losses — before further losses are borne by the fund. The exact buffer and cap depend on the fund and its current outcome period.
- What is the outcome period?
- The outcome period is the defined window — often about one year — over which a buffer ETF's stated buffer and cap are designed to apply. Buying or selling mid-period means the realized buffer and cap can differ from the stated levels.
